Good Stewards - Answering the Call
Every blessing in life is a gift freely given by our generous God.
As Catholic stewards, we are called to be grateful for those gifts, nurture their growth, use them wisely, and give back a portion to the Lord and His beloved people. Through the Church of the Diocese of Norwich, we offer our gifts to our brothers and sisters so that they can come to know Our Savior, feel His healing in times of crisis, and follow Christ into everlasting glory.
Your support of the Annual Bishop’s Appeal
will enable the Diocese of Norwich to:
- Proclaim the Good News of Salvation to all parts of our Diocese
- Provide for the present and future ministerial and pastoral
needs of the Church in the Diocese
- Provide administrative support to 78 parishes and 10 missions
- Strengthen Catholic schools and parish religious education programs
- Feed the hungry, comfort those who mourn and are troubled, shelter the homeless and visit the imprisoned
- Pass on to younger generations our faith and teachings
- Be present as a Catholic community to young adults on college campuses
- Prepare people for strong Christian marriage, assist and support families in trouble, and nurture existing marriages
- Provide care and compassion for the elderly
- Sustain our retired priests who have given their lives in service to the people of God.
