It’s This Weekend!
This Sunday, December 28 at 4:00pm the Christmas Angel himself (performed by soap opera actor Frank Runyeon) will tell us The 3 ½ Stories of Christmas.
Children and adults will be delighted as all the parts of the Christmas story are tied together for the first time: from the light of Creation to the manger in Bethlehem, from the origin of Santa Claus, to the secret of the Christmas angel himself!
Admission is a free will offering. Refreshments will be served after the performance.
The parish Communal Penance Service for Advent will be Tuesday, December 16 at 7pm. Mark your calendar!
Sacred Heart celebrates Thanksgiving by celebrating the Eucharist on Wednesday, November 26 at 7pm. Please join us!
Father Stan will be installed as Pastor of Saint Maurice Church on Bolton in Sunday, October 26 at their 8:45am Mass. The people of Saint Maurice have also extended an invitation to our parishioners to the reception to be held afterward.
Our new parochial vicar, Father Tony DiMarco, will be the presider at all the Masses for the next two weekends. For most of us, this will be the first opportunity we’ve had to meet Father Tony, so be sure to come and give him a warm Sacred Heart welcome.
For the summer, your parish offices will be open from 1:00pm
until 4:30pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays and Wednesday 9:30am
to 4:30pm, Friday 9:30am to 3:00pm. The Tuesday daily Mass will
generally be in the evening, but you should check the bulletin each
week for the exact schedule Continue reading »
